We are seeking a Senior Pastor for an active church of about 250 in rural central Pennsylvania. The Church of the Living Christ is an independent, non-charismatic, bible teaching church with a desire to glorify God and serve Him through obedience to the Great Commission. We have many young families and an effective youth ministry overseen by an Associate Pastor of Youth and their Families. We are debt free with a 25-year-old facility and a vision for growth. Please visit our website for more information (i.e Beliefs, Ministries, etc.). We are looking for a man of prayer with a compassionate heart willing to serve and equip others. He will have an in-depth working knowledge of the Scripture and will be able to communicate effectively and passionately for practical living. Candidates must be Scripturally qualified (1 Tim 3). Preferences are for a man 35+ years old with 7+ years experience in the pastorate and familiar with a rural setting. We also prefer a married man (wife supportive of his ministry) with at least 4 years of formal Bible training.
